Values & Commitments

I believe effective therapy begins with feeling safe, respected, and understood. My work as a therapist is grounded in the understanding that people’s identities, cultures, histories, and lived experiences shape how they move and experience mental health, healing, and care.

Background & Connections

Throughout my education, training, and professional work, I have been committed to learning how systems, bias, and social experiences can impact mental health. I have worked with individuals from a wide range of backgrounds and identities, which has continuously reinforced the importance of humanity, curiosity, and ongoing learning in therapeutic spaces.

Commitment to inclusivity and equality isn't just a statement; it comes from listening to people's stories, honoring their experiences, and recognizing when systems have not served everyone equitably.

My Ongoing Commitment

I recognize that inclusive, ethical care is an ongoing practice, not a finished goal. I am committed to continuing my education, reflecting on my blind spots, and adapting my practice as I learn more from both research and the patients I serve.

My goal is to provide therapy that evolves alongside my clients and the communities around me, always prioritizing dignity, respect, and meaningful care.

Accessibility & Care

Access to mental health should feel as manageable and transparent as possible. I strive to reduce barriers where I can, and to work collaboratively with clients to make therapy fit into your life, not the other way around.

I offer flexible scheduling options through telehealth to accommodate work schedules, caregiving responsibilities, transportation limitations, and energy levels. I recognize that consistency in care depends on practicality, and I am open to discussing what that looks like for you!

I am also transparent and open when discussing fees, insurance, and financial considerations. Questions about costs or coverage are welcome at any time.

When appropriate and feasible, I am open to accommodations that support a client's comfort, communication needs, and accessibility preferences. After all, therapy is most effective when you feel respected and supported!
